General Terms & Conditions for Marine Master Group clients, vessels and property under our care or service coordination.

Liability
- We, as a company, shall not be held liable for any loss or damage which may result from events that are beyond our reasonable control. This includes, but is not limited to, severe weather conditions, actions initiated by third parties not directly under our employment, or defects in customers' or third parties' property.
- It is the responsibility of the clients to ensure that their vessels and property are sufficiently insured against all kinds of risks while they are under our care.

Salvage and Preservation
- We are not obligated to salvage or preserve a customer's vessel or property unless we are expressly engaged to do so based on commercial terms.
- Nevertheless, we reserve the right to undertake salvage or preservation actions in circumstances where there are safety or environmental risks present, with charges applied at our normal commercial rates.

Customer Liability and Insurance
- Customers may be held liable for any loss or damage caused by them, their crew, or their vessels while they are on our premises or undergoing work.
- It is mandatory that customers maintain adequate insurance coverage, including third-party liability and, where applicable, Employers’ Liability cover.

Price and Estimates
- Our pricing is based on the labour, materials, and services provided unless otherwise agreed upon.
- The estimates we provide are subject to the accuracy of information supplied by the customer and may not include emergent work or extensions beyond the initial scope of work.

Delays
- The completion times we provide are given in good faith but are not guaranteed.
- We are not responsible for delays unless they result from willful acts, negligence, or omissions on our part.

Vessel Movements
- We reserve the right to move vessels, gear, or property for safety, security, or operational reasons.

Payment
- Payment for all work, goods, and services is due immediately upon invoicing unless otherwise agreed.
- Interest may be charged on outstanding sums, and we retain the right to exercise a general lien over vessels or property until payment is received.

Retention of Title/Risk
- The title to supplied goods remains with us until full payment is received.
- The risk passes to the customer upon the supply of goods.

Guarantee
- We guarantee our work against defects arising from poor workmanship or defective materials for 12 months from completion (used materials and spares are excluded). This does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, normal wear and tear, or misuse.
- Customers must promptly notify us in writing of any defects for remedial action.

Quality Standards
- Work will be completed to the agreed specification or satisfactory quality in the absence of specific contractual terms.

Access to Premises/Work on Vessel
- Any work done on vessels or property requires our prior written consent, except for minor routine maintenance by the customer or regular crew.
- Compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies is mandatory.

Right of Sale
- We may exercise a Right of Sale under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977 in circumstances where goods are not collected or accepted by the customer.

Subcontracting
- We reserve the right to subcontract work, ensuring subcontractors adhere to these terms.

Notices
- Notices to customers shall be served personally or by first-class post to the last known address.
- Notices to us should be sent by first-class post to our principal trading address or registered office.

Law and Jurisdiction
- Contracts are subject to English law.
- Disputes with Business Customers are under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Dispute Resolution
- Disputes should ideally be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration under the LMA’s Dispute Resolution Scheme.
